“Differences are not intended to separate, to alienate. We are different precisely in order to realize our need of one another.” – Archbishop Desmond Tutu
Dear Fellow Warrior,
More to say soon. For now… here is a poem for the moment…
When I Choose Love
When I choose love over fear,
When I believe in humanity,
With intention, with sincerity,
The differences fade away.
And what stays…
Is beautiful…
As radiant, as dawn.
As comforting, as a sunset.
As powerful as a Queen.
As fierce, as the lonely lioness.
As enduring, as the mountains.
A pull of an intoxicating nature.
As contagious as the newborn’s smile beneath the rubble in Gaza.
As magnetic as the Call to Prayer.
This is a journey.
From our shared breath of life.
With sparks,
Of an awakening, through the spirit of hope.
An everlasting presence.
Through a gauntlet of evil eyes.
Through the shadow of silent condemnation.
Beyond the realm of reason.
Beyond the realm of hatred.
Beyond the realm of doubt or fear.
This is the path toward a Revolutionary Love.

Will write more to you soon. Lots to share, and lots to reflect on with you. I hope you are prioritizing self-care at this trying time.
In solidarity, peace, warmth, and blessings,
Your Sister,
