Mental Health Library

The Warrior KQueen’s Mental Health Repository

Careful attention to our mental and emotional health is especially critical while in pursuit of our goals and ambitions. This space is for sharing knowledge and resources on the pertinent topic of mental health and well-being, alongside general mental health awareness and self-help.

Please note that this is not intended to serve as a replacement or a substitute for professional care (although I believe in some cases, bibliotherapy becomes necessary when professional care is insufficient); rather, self-education is a supplementary form of care.

This page is a centralized location for the resources that continue to support my personal growth and progression. Below is a list of some noteworthy resources that have helped me, including self-help books related to my goals. When I review some of the literature and watch videos on mental illness, it gives me a sense of relief as well as hope. Educating myself about my condition and well-being has become part of my routine in coping with illness.

In no particular order, this list includes: books, websites, organizations, YouTube videos, articles, blogs, etc. that have supported me in the process of getting a better state of mind, body, and soul. I provide links to articles and videos here for easy access.  Sometimes I watch these videos while painting or doing other relaxing activities, as I increase my knowledge and understanding of mental health.

I hope these resources can be helpful to you as well. Ultimately, we must enhance awareness on these issues and this must be an individual and collective effort. This page exemplifies the notion that with all the knowledge about mental health issues now, and the many mediums to access it, there is no excuse to not at least try to learn about mental illnesses, health, and well-being, especially if we ourselves struggle with a mental illness or have loved ones with mental health conditions.

Please feel free to share any of your knowledge and resources as well (in the comments section below). You may also submit your suggestions through the contact form located here.

Happy Reading and Viewing!

{Please Note: The last update on this full page for most resources was 2018. There have been a few other updates but more resources from recent years will be added to this page soon. This repository will continue to be updated periodically going forward. Please do return for updates. Thank you for visiting this page.}
